At BRIGHT-NIGHT 2025 (https://bright-night.it/enti-di-ricerca/universita-di-pisa/), the SPG group shared its research with the public. Our stand, “Dalla luce all’energia, un possibile aiuto dalla plastica” (“From Light to Energy: Possible Help from Plastics”), showed how innovative plastic materials can be used to make solar energy conversion more efficient. Through simple demonstrations and hands-on examples, visitors (mostly high-school students!) discovered how chemistry can turn everyday plastics into smart materials that help capture sunlight and produce clean energy.
