We are pleased to announce that Prof. Andrea Pucci recently participated in the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) 2024 Fall Meeting in Warsaw (PL), delivering an invited talk on Sustainable Luminescent Solar Concentrators at the symposium on Biogenic and Bio-derived Materials for Sustainable Energy Systems.
Prof. Pucci’s presentation highlighted innovative approaches to developing luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs) using eco-compatible materials and recycled methyl methacrylate, contributing to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions. This research is supported by the PRIN project 2022ZZC2HZ LUCE (Luminescent Solar Concentrators based on recycled methylmethacrylate and Eco-compatible materials), aimed at promoting environmentally friendly technologies in solar energy harvesting.
