Benedetta Bertoncini is a second-year PhD student enrolled in a joint doctoral programme in cotutelle between the University of Pisa and Chimie ParisTech in Paris. As part of this international doctoral pathway, she has recently received recognition for her research activities through two opportunities supporting her PhD journey. She was awarded a mobility grant through the Vinci Programme, dedicated to PhD students enrolled in joint doctoral programmes between France and Italy. The grant will support her research activities and further strengthen scientific exchange between the two academic environments.
During the IC3EM (7th International Caparica Conference on Chromogenic and Emissive Materials 2026) Conference held in Caparica (Lisbon), Benedetta was among the winners of a Best Shotgun Poster Award for her research presentation.
These recognitions highlight the value of international collaboration in doctoral training and the opportunities offered by the MaMa project to foster research exchange and scientific development.
