On the 12th of July, Dr. Carlotti and the PhDs of the Smart Polymer Group have been hosted by Prof. Larisa Florea and Prof. Colm Delaney of the CRANN Institute of the Trinity College Dublin. They had the chance of visiting their facilities, interacting with their teams, and present their research. Prof. Florea and Prof. Delaney are successful young scientists working in the fields of microfabrication, actuation, and photonics, and they have both been awarded an ERC Starting Grant. Dr. Carlotti is collaborating with them on a FET Open Project (5DNanoPrinting) but we hope that interesting collaboration may arise in the future.
